This project turned out to be a success as the number rose to 38% in its first year. Following Mercedes are Aston Martin and AlphaTauri. Otello Valenti, a member of team AlphaTauri, revealed how the Hamilton Commission helped them to promote diversity.

He stated, “The commission has been very helpful in involving all the teams, collecting data and insights, and providing a big picture of the diversity topics. In a data-driven environment like F1, this has been useful also to start a conversation and share best practice across teams.
