Pierre Gasly has made his TV area a rather unusual spot! The French star was watching the French Open final and posted about the same. However, there is something else that is making the fans question many things. Many are now wondering why would Gasly do that!

The French driver is fresh off the race in Monaco. While he did not finish in points, the 26-year-old still managed to make an impression. Notably, he was one of the first few drivers to opt for intermediates during a wet race. Though initially faced with troubles, he ultimately managed some great moves.

Pierre Gasly has a weird spot for his F1 trophies!

The AlphaTauri star posted a picture that showed his three career trophies on his TV cabinet. These trophies were from his 2020 win at Monza, 2019 P2 in Brazil, and another podium finish in 2021 (Azerbaijan).

Now, this picture is being shared all across the board. While some say ‘Can’t blame him, “others focused on the Frenchman’s TV size. Interestingly, two of Gasly’s three trophies come after his demotion from the Red Bull team. The Frenchman has been in the news after they locked Sergio Perez in till 2024.

It’s safe to say that the driver waited long to be given a second chance at the team. After Daniel Ricciardo’s departure from the Austrian team, they arguably struggled to find an ideal replacement for the Australian. This cost the team a probable early win in the Constructors’ and the drivers’ championship.

Could McLaren consider Gasly?

With Perez’s impressive performances and consistency, many fans believe that it was the right decision to keep him. However, this was bound to affect Gasly’s career path, who will now have to either stay at AlphaTauri or look elsewhere. However, the Frenchman is also not without options as he could possibly be considered for a McLaren seat.
