This weekend, so far, has been a cloudy affair for Hamilton. He struggled all Friday only to qualify in P13 for the sprint race on Saturday. However, a recent post by a fan will hopefully boost his confidence this weekend in Imola.

Fans Shower Lewis Hamilton with Love at Imola
Regardless of where Lewis Hamilton is racing, the fans still love him. The Briton had another such fan encounter this weekend in Imola. The fan recently took to social media to share some pictures and a touching message for the driver.

It has not been a great weekend for the Briton. He would be hoping to receive more of such messages from the fans as they would surely help boost his confidence for the Sprint on Saturday.
Lewis Hamilton’s Struggle in 2022 continues
Hamilton’s tough start to 2022 has continued in Imola. He had a dismal Friday and was P18 in Free Practice 1. Qualifying for the sprint was abysmal for him as well. With Hamilton getting knocked out in Q2, he is set to start the Sprint race on Saturday in P13.

After the qualifying, Hamilton looked back on the day and said “It wasn’t a great session, naturally it’s disappointing.” This has been the case more often than not as Mercedes has been off the pace compared to their rivals at Ferrari and Red Bull.
He went on to add, “everyone is working hard at the factory and things just don’t come together it’s disappointing. We underperformed as a team today.”
