Out of the 17 million people that live in the Netherlands, how many do you think are aware of the name, Max Verstappen? We reckon a lot though the drafting out the numbers are almost impossible. And this is exactly why the Max Verstappen Store was opened in Swalmen back in 2017.

Well, here’s something interesting; The store has a ‘new’ product on display at the moment – the crash helmet that saved Verstappen’s life at Silverstone, earlier this season. But, the helmet isn’t the only showpiece to take a peek at.

Apart from the life-saving crash helmet, there is also the Red Bull F1 car that helped Verstappen secure the top step at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix. Then, there are other crash helmets with variable designs and the Dutchman’s first-ever kart.

This is indeed a must-visit place for Super Max fans around the world. Of course, the shop isn’t necessarily huge, but it does hold onto some showpieces with interesting backstories and a massive number of official Verstappen merchandise.

Images of the Max Verstappen helmet seen for the first time

It was undeniably a shocking moment for the entire F1 community as they watched Verstappen drift out of control toward the barriers, not around just some corner, but Copse, one of the fastest corners in the entire world, averaging around 280 km/hr.

The blow was hefty, but the crash helmet kept him secure. However, since then, there had never been an image of the helmet, the alleged broken seat, or even the car itself emerging on social media, as Verstappen and Red Bull chose to keep the details secluded.

Well, the first image finally popped up on social media, thanks to the helmet’s arrival at the Max Verstappen Shop in the Netherlands. There is red paint all over the top of the helmet, which looks quite like the paint that might have tagged along from the tire barrier.

Apart from the paint, there is also a significant amount of damage to the bodywork as well proving the immense 51G impact. Overall, more such showpieces are likely to show up at the store if Verstappen manages to win what could be his first F1 title this season. So, will this scenario pan out in reality?
