Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals in the world held annually in California. The festival attracts celebrities and fans from all around the world to you have the time of their lives. Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo have also attended the Coachella festival previously.

Hamilton went to the festival in 2019 but would miss this year because of the F1 race in Imola. In 2019, he took to his Instagram to share a post about having a blast at the festival and enjoying it with friends. He even met fellow F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo and she had a conversation with him in Coachella.

“Coachella 2019 was one of the funniest times of my life thanks to great friends and positive vibes. I feel so lucky to have found along with my life’s journey such amazing people, I am truly grateful!” wrote Hamilton. Fans took to Twitter to share Hamilton’s best moments at the 2019 Coachella festival.

Lewis Hamilton comments on Mercedes’s 2022 struggles

Mercedes have had a tough start to the 2022 campaign as they have been struggling for performance against Red Bull and Ferrari. The team are currently sitting P2 in the drivers and constructors’ championship despite having an inferior car to their rivals.

Hamilton himself is P5 in the championship and has only managed one podium in the first 3 races of the season. But he mentioned that the team needs to work hard to overcome their problems to fight for the title this season.

“There’s a lot of work [to do]. There will be a lot of calls, really trying to rally them up… we’ve got some improvements that we need to make and we need everyone’s support in doing that,” said Hamilton.

“There’s performance to be gained in areas that we know and we need it now, not in two or three races. Just got to keep that encouragement, keep that energy,” said the Mercedes driver.

It would be interesting to see how the German team develops the 2022 cars from here on onwards. It is unlikely that they will bring any major upgrades to the Imola circuit as we have a Sprint weekend this week. But they do have plenty of opportunities in the coming races to develop their car.
