Daniel Ricciardo embraces his weaknesses as the exit from F1 nears
Daniel Ricciardo signed a 3-year deal with McLaren. In the 1st year (2021), he failed to impress as expectations were high. However, he was still able to bag a win at the Italian GP. While 2021 was a disappointing year, 2022 has turned out to be a disaster.
While he has only accrued 29 points, teammate Lando Norris has bagged 101 points and is sitting in 7th in the drivers’ championship standings, 5 places above Ricciardo.
While the decision to part ways earlier was mutual owing to continuously disappointing performances, Ricciardo recently admitted to having his weaknesses exposed in the current car.
