The F1 carnival in the Magic City had a huge crowd. Fans and the F1 teams are enjoying the inaugural Miami GP. Further, many famous personalities also visited the Miami Internation Autodrome to experience the first Miami race weekend.

The F1 paddock was full of A-list celebrities throughout Thursday and Friday. The Hawkeye star Hailee Steinfeld was at the McLaren garage, checking out the MCL36. It seems ‘Kate Bishop’ is a Papaya fan. Also, celebrities like Claire Holt, Josh Denzel, and the Miami Dolphins star JJ Phillips visited the Williams base.

Another celeb who visited the McLaren garage was the American golfer Ian Poulter. The American golfer and his son also took a photo with Lando Norris‘ Basketball helmet. The golfer shared the photo on Instagram and captioned it, “Lando Norris, it doesn’t bounce.” The young Mclaren driver gave a witty reply, “Hope you didn’t try bounce it.”

The Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian also visited the Maimi Friday Practice session. Further, Ohanian and his wife Serena Williams are friends with the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes man was spotted with Jamiee Foxx, Will.i.am, and Ludacris, are spotted together on Thursday night. Also, the NBA stars LeBron James, and Kevin Love visited the Miami GP. Undoubtedly, fans would spot more famous personalities during the qualifying and main race.

F1 Drivers protest at the Miami GP

Aside from the carnival environment in Miami, there were also a lot of protests from drivers as the FIA reintroduced the jewelry ban and the mandate rule to wear fireproof underwear. However, many drivers in the paddock didn’t like the new rules.

The seven-time world champion Hamilton showcased his rejection of the jewelry ban rule since the Australian GP. But he shocked everyone in Miami, wearing many pieces of jewelry and three watches during the official Miami press conference. He even said he would not follow the jewelry band and was ready to face the consequences.

Further, Sebastian Vettel turned into his sublime best for the Friday Practice session. The four-time world champion decided to wear fireproof underwear over his driving suit to show his rejection of the new FIA rules.
