A few weeks ago, Pierre Gasly announced his move to Alpine after this season. That broke the hearts of fans worldwide who were thoroughly enjoying the friendship between the two AlphaTauri drivers. Gasly’s friendship with Yuki Tsunoda is counted among the most wholesome and adorable bromances in F1 right now.

The two drivers from diverse cultures have become the unlikeliest of brothers, which makes Gasly’s recent shift all the more tragic.
The AlphaTauri twins try American snacks
However, before the AlphaTauri brothers go their separate ways, there is still some time left. And the two are determined to make the most of it. Earlier this year in Suzuka, Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda tried sushi together. This time on their visit to Austin, the duo tried American snacks.
In a video by Bleacher Report, the pair tried various snacks like string cheese. However, it is while trying Hot Flamin’ Cheetos that they met their match.

Pierre was the first one to pick up the red Cheeto and take a sniff. But it was Yuki who tried to stuff two Cheetos up his nose because he thought it would be funny. And it was, for everyone but Yuki who immediately blanched and then tried to taste the Cheetos. And Yuki’s reaction to the spicy snack was enough to forewarn his teammate.
“Thanks for trying first!” Pierre laughed as he took a bite. He then added, gesturing to Yuki’s mouth, which was a telltale red, “Bro, you look like you have, like, red lipstick on your lips.”
“I’m not a big fan of these,” Pierre admitted after having eaten the crisps. By contrast, Yuki seemed to enjoy the spice as he said, “I think I like [Cheetos] best so far.”
“You’d eat the full bag of that?” Pierre proceeded to ask, laughing as he added, “You’ve got flames coming out of your mouth!”
In the end, the AlphaTauri twins stuck to their polar opposite opinions. Pierre gave the Cheetos a score of 4/10, to which Yuki instantly retorted by giving it a 9.4/10.
Pierre Gasly is determined to stay in touch with Yuki Tsunoda
While the Pierre Gasly-Yuki Tsunoda bromance continues, fans cannot stop thinking about the impending break-up in 2023. And it is not only fans who will miss the duo.
Soon after his announcement, Pierre Gasly spoke about leaving Yuki behind, and the feelings it brought up. He admitted that he will certainly miss his teammate.

“He feels like a little brother,” said Gasly. “I’m trying to get him closer to Milan, so we can live not too far from each other. We’ll see how that goes. He is definitely a great dude, and I’ll miss him.”
“His taste for food is going to be missed but I’m sure we will have time off track.”
