In a recent interview, the Australian driver opened up about his personal life and relationship. In the Fitzy & Wippa podcast, the Perth-based driver let everyone know about the details of his love life and his connection with his partner’s family.

Talking about this, the McLaren driver stated, “Yeah mate, I’m in love. I got a good thing going, so yeah. I’ve got a good balance in life right now.” The F1 star further shared that “love eliminates stress” for him.
The McLaren driver is currently in a relationship with Heidi Berger. The two have been reportedly dating for a while now. The 33-year-old driver made his relationship ‘Instagram Official’ in August 2022.
Daniel Ricciardo shares amicable bonding with Gerhard Berger
Gerhard Berger is the father of Ricciardo’s partner. Berger, who has been a legend in the sport, has a good record in F1. The Austrian has 10 Grand Prix wins, 48 Podiums, and 12 Pole positions under his belt. He also has 210 race entries to his name.
In his illustrious F1 career that spanned 13 years, the veteran former driver has driven for the teams like Ferrari, McLaren, Benetton, Arrows, and ATS. Ricciardo, interestingly, took inspiration from Berger when he was young and both of them have driven for McLaren at different periods of time.

Talking about Ricciardo’s relationship with Berger, the former Renault driver shared, “When I was young, I’ve been following F1 since I was a kid. I had like a Berger hat.”
When asked if Ricciardo talks about cars when they meet, he added, “I talk about it, he still goes to quite a few races.”
