Although the season hasn’t been what the Honey Badger would have expected on the track, he has enjoyed his time with his teammate Norris to the fullest. Time and again, the chaotic duo is caught having bromance moments. The latest was when before the United States Grand Prix, the Papaya duo was caught doing romantic waltzing, which left the fans amused.
Another fun moment happened yesterday, shared by Daniel Ricciardo in one of the clips which he photo bombed on Instagram. Fans were seen demanding the full video of the clip. The clip made every fan burst into laughter, responding to the demand made by the fans, the Brit said, “Dude! if you posted that full video, I’m not turning up next race HAHA.”
There were many off-track moments, which Ricciardo and Norris shared this year, but an on-track move of Ricciardo forced the Brit to appreciate the senior Mclaren driver.
Lando Norris appreciates the efforts of Daniel Ricciardo
After finishing out of points for the last two races, Daniel Ricciardo seems to have got back his form. The Honey Badger finished at P7 after receiving a 10s penalty following the crash with AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda. The penalty could have let him lose the crucial points, but instead, he raced brilliantly to finish in the top 10.

Ricciardo’s teammate Lando Norris finished two places behind him at P9. The Brit finds Ricciardo lucky and appreciates his efforts on the track. He said, “We did a good job maybe we covered Yuki a bit too early on the hard tyre and that wasn’t a great thing to do, but apart from that the strategy was reasonable and Daniel did a good job. Daniel was in a lucky position, that he could stay out and do whatever he wanted. “
However, Ricciardo seemed to have mixed emotions as he said, ” I’m very happy, but it still wasn’t straightforward. I still got a 10-second penalty so I’m a little mixed about it. Of course, I still wish it didn’t happen. I didn’t miss the apex or lock and go into [Tsunoda].”
