Not many drivers in Formula 1 possess the level of passion that Fernando Alonso has for winning. Even at the age of 41, the Spaniard expects nothing but the best from his teams to excel. While his arrival at Aston Martin will surely benefit the team, a former F1 driver believes they need to be ready to face his wrath if things don’t go according to plan.

Fernando Alonso’s two-year stint with Alpine did not go as he may have wanted. While the 2021 season saw him take one podium finish, it was a dull affair overall. However, the worst was yet to come as he DNF’d 6 time owing to reliability issues in the 2022 season. We heard him take his team to task in angry radio messages.

Fernando Alonso arrived at Aston Martin with a lot of promise. Speaking on Fernando’s move to Aston Martin, Romain Grosjean said, I think that’s going to be a really big boost for the team. Fernando is an incredible driver, he’s an incredible motivator. You always want to do more, always want to push people to do more. So, I think for Aston Martin that’s a very neat and clever move and I’m excited to see what Fernando can do there.”
