While his arrival at Aston Martin will surely benefit the team, a former F1 driver believes they need to be ready to face his wrath if things don’t go according to plan.

Fernando Alonso’s two-year stint with Alpine did not go as he may have wanted. While the 2021 season saw him take one podium finish, it was a dull affair overall. However, the worst was yet to come as he DNF’d 6 time owing to reliability issues in the 2022 season. We heard him take his team to task in angry radio messages.

Moreover, they are planning to build a new facility in Silverstone, which will house a wind tunnel. Needless to say, they are leaving no stone unturned.

Speaking on Fernando’s move to Aston Martin, Romain Grosjean said, “I think that’s going to be a really big boost for the team. Fernando is an incredible driver, he’s an incredible motivator. You always want to do more, always want to push people to do more. So, I think for Aston Martin that’s a very neat and clever move and I’m excited to see what Fernando can do there.”
