F1 stars like Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris took to streaming their gameplays. And they were accompanied by several other drivers one by one.
But then, once the pandemic abated and the F1 seasons resumed with vigor, drivers slowly dropped out of streaming. Charles Leclerc was one of them, and also one of the most missed on the platform. Leclerc’s streams had become a source of endless compilation videos showcasing F1 humor.
Now, Leclerc’s Twitch community might be rekindled. Pierre Gasly is one of the few drivers who still occasionally streams. On his latest stream, a fan asked whether the Frenchman will someday stream with Charles Leclerc.

Charles Leclerc admits to being his true self while streaming
It was a glorious time for F1 fans when their favorite drivers took to Twitch streaming. Here, they often displayed their mischievous, cheekier sides that had been buried.
And Charles Leclerc was one of the most favored streams among the F1 drivers, along with Lando Norris and George Russell. And it wasn’t only the fans who enjoyed this activity.
“Streaming on Twitch, this was something I definitely did not expect to enjoy and I never saw myself doing that,” said Leclerc, speaking to selected media including Autosport.

“But actually I really enjoyed it and I think it is the closest for people that follow me that you can get of the real me. At the F1 track obviously it’s different, there’s a pressure and things like this, so to be yourself is a bit different.”
“Now on Twitch obviously, playing with the other drivers and, being friends as well, we all know each other since quite a long time with Lando [Norris], George [Russell], Alex [Albon]. We can be ourselves and I enjoy it a lot more than I thought.”
