The two have a reputation for joking around the paddock before the race. And the fans expected the pair to get on together easily when the Australian joined McLaren in 2021.

“What’s something surprising you have learned about each other as teammates?” asked a fan, to which Daniel hilariously replied, “Lando is probably the easiest person to make laugh. Ricciardo reveals his relationship with Lando Norris

Ahead of the Imola GP, Ricciardo admitted he could not force his relationship with Norris in his first season. However, he stated the two share a good relationship now.

“I felt like a lot of people probably wanted us to be best friends from day one. And it was something that we couldn’t really force and it did take a bit of time to really create a good relationship.”

“But in saying that, there wasn’t tension or anything, it was just that we were trying to figure each other out. Currently, where I sit today, I think we have a very good relationship,” revealed the 32-year-old driver.
