As the 2022 F1 season has come to an end, Lewis Hamilton completed his 16th season in Formula 1. Over the course of a such long journey, the veteran from Britain has accomplished numerous accolades to his name. However, there will be a time when he would have to retire, as he recently explained the ‘tiring’ factor of sport.

As per the New York Times, Hamilton conveyed how hard it gets to continue year after year in F1. Talking about this, he stated, “They [His family] can also see how tiring it is, that it weighs heavy on you. Sometimes when I go around to my sister’s house, I just pass out on the couch.”

On the other hand, after spending more than one and a half decades in F1, Hamilton anticipates that retiring will be hard for him, even though the time for retirement isn’t near for him.

On this, the man from Stevenage asserted, “It’s going to be hard one day, stopping racing. I’ve done it for 30 years, and it’ll be 30-plus years when I do eventually stop. Luckily for me, right this second, it’s not now.”

Lewis Hamilton’s supportive family has always had his back

Family is undoubtedly very important in a person’s life. Getting the right kind of support from them boosts one’s career, and Lewis Hamilton is certainly one lucky man when it comes to this.

The seven-time world champion conveyed that he gets the right kind of support from his family. Both his parents, and his brother and sister, have been supportive throughout his career.

Talking about this, the Mercedes F1 star conveyed, “My dad and my brother, they’re like, ‘Yeah, keep racing forever,’ because they’re racers. For my mum and my sister, I can definitely sense they want me to do whatever I want to do.”
