Throughout his F1 career, Lewis Hamilton has always been spotted with his two bulldogs, Roscoe and Coco. Tragically, Hamilton has officially confirmed that Coco passed away last night from a suspected heart attack. In light of the dog’s passing, the Mercedes driver paid a touching tribute to the bulldog on Instagram.
He wrote, “Last night at around 9pm, my beautiful little girl Coco died at home with the family by her side. Her little heart gave in, we think it was a heart attack. I tried to revive her but it was no use. She’d had the best day, happier than I’d seen her in a long time. She was such a special dog, born with so many problems and I feel so lucky to have adopted her.”

What else did Lewis Hamilton say?
According to him, Coco’s breeder revealed that there was no choice but to put her down. Apparently, she wouldn’t be able to afford all the things necessary to survive. A devastated Lewis Hamilton also admitted that on their last day together, the two of them shared a special moment playing together.
As a parting note, the Mercedes driver said, “I will miss her snoring and how happy she was always to see me. She was only 6, healthy and happy. Naturally, my heart is broken but i hope she’s in a better place with my Aunty Diane. Wanted to share with you and thank those of you who loved her, cared for her.”
Now, Lewis Hamilton only has his other bulldog, Roscoe to keep him company and cheer him up. The Mercedes star is currently preparing for the 2020 F1 season to restart at last. He is also gunning for a 7th F1 world championship, in order to tie with the legendary Michael Schumacher for the most F1 titles.
