And now that the team has made a 2.4 second worth of leap and stands as the closest challenger of Red Bull, another development has blown the mind of Milton Keynes driver Checo.

Talking to the media, Fernando boasted of the luxuries he has found at Aston Martin’s hospitality. He explained, Thursday was the first day “where I could go to the motorhome because we skipped Imola. This motorhome, the room that I have just for myself, it’s all just overwhelming.”

That’s when Sergio Perez gets curious, asking whether he also has a PlayStation in his room. Alonso cheekily replied, “I have everything. I’m even thinking about staying the night here!”
While Sergio Perez may have been in awe of the drivers’ indulgent hospitality, he and his team perhaps have a target on their backs.

Fernando Alonso, who finished the first practice session of the 2023 Monaco GP in second place, has come here to win. During the media day, he said he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t come here to win and had sent out his wish for the 33rd win to the Universe.
