In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Bottas said, “It’s called Kahiwa.” When asked how he got into owning a coffee roaster, the 33-year-old driver stated that when he got back to his country after Covid-19, he discovered a new roastery he had never heard of before.
As Bottas ordered beans from the new roastery in the town, they sent him some grounded coffee by mistake. The Alfa Romeo driver then reached the place by himself to pick up coffee beans and eventually he became a co-owner of the place.
However, what’s more interesting is Bottas’ daily coffee routine. As stated by the driver himself, “It’s quite a routine. When I’m at home, I have one flat white, which is a double shot of espresso, and then a bit of foamy milk with hopefully a bit of latte art on top.”

“And then after that, I’ll have another double espresso after breakfast. And then maybe one more flat white,” concluded Valtteri Bottas of Alfa Romeo. With a few hours to go for the race, it’ll be interesting to see if Bottas’ coffee turns out to be a savior this time around.
