“Everyone is a Ferrari fan. Even if they say they’re not, they are Ferrari fans.” This statement that Sebastian Vettel gave at the 2016 Canadian GP stands the test of time. Ferrari is not just a car manufacturer. In the world of racing, it is the biggest and the most successful brand. They have won 16 Constructors’ Championships, the most of any. And in a recent interview ahead of the British GP, Lewis Hamilton, too expressed his love for Ferrari, and their talisman, Charles Leclerc.
Ever since their first race in F1, Ferrari has established itself as the place to be for talent. There might be a lot of strategic errors and unfortunate circumstances that they find themselves in now, but their fanbase is loyal. The Tifosi love their team and like any relationship, there will be a lot of low moments too. But through those moments shines the diamond that is Ferrari. And turns out that the Tifosi have a new addition to them and it is a rival racer.
“Leclerc is very strong, you could always see that,” Hamilton told Corriere della Sera.
“I would say one thing: if I could sit down with the fans on the bleachers over there, I would support Charles. I am a Ferrari fan.” ❤️ https://t.co/0Ouwynq5DY
