For the longest time, Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger had the most mesmerizing relationships in all of Formula 1. Before their eventual break-up, Scherzinger had followed Hamilton through one of his toughest times in F1.

However, it all came to fruition at the 2014 British Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton won with Mercedes on home soil. But what was more interesting to see was how Scherzinger was there to witness it. In an interview in 2014, she spilt the beans about that fateful Sunday.
While speaking to TraxFM, Scherzinger said, “I prayed, I prayed so hard.”. She was in good company, too, “I was with his family yesterday watching it.” She went on to joke about how she felt watching the Brit win his home Grand Prix. “I don’t think you know how massive it is for me to have my boyfriend be happy to win so…yes!”
Eventually, their relationship didn’t stand the test of time. However, Lewis Hamilton has often talked about why it has been so difficult for him to sustain long-term relationships while plying his trade as a Formula 1 driver.

Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger were the talks of the town when they were going out together. However, with Hamilton’s career being his No. 1 priority, they soon ended their relationship and walked their separate ways.

Hamilton explains why it is difficult for him to sustain serious romantic relationships. While talking to Express, he said, “It may be slightly different in that we are travelling as much as we are, and you are just away for crazy amounts of time, so that’s probably an additional weight load that makes it really, really tough to hold down a good relationship.”

He also gave an insight into his mindset when it comes to relationships. “My cars are my babies. I used to say, when I had a girlfriend, ‘I’m taking one of the girls out, so you can come if you want, but you come second when it comes to the cars.’”
