Wise is the one who flavors the future with some salt from the past. Becoming dust is no threat to the phoenix born from the ash. A recent video that surfaced on Twitter featured Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. We see the two French drivers giving updates on the things that went down during the Australian Grand Prix, which includes the collision between the two. Fans have started brewing their own stories about the video. Let’s see what they think about the situation.
The standing starts on lap 57 of the Australian GP caused a massive stir on the grid. A two-lap showdown meant everyone would try to take advantage and a standing start and cold tires ensured there would be chaos. Crashes up and down the grid at the restart meant that the stewards Red Flagged the race again. However, Alpine was the biggest loser as both their cars crashed into each other after running in points for the entire race and were not able to finish the race.

Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon have since then termed the collision as a racing incident rather than blaming it on the other owning the mistake in judgments to the chaotic race start. In a recent video uploaded by Alpine on Twitter, Gasly, and Ocon are on their way back from Melbourne. The two Frenchmen give a quick debrief on the race talking about the crash and how unfortunate it was. They also highlighted the pace of Alpine pinpointing how they were able to match the front runners. The two look forward to racing in Baku and carrying forward the pace and momentum.
The two drivers are apparently together, portraying that things are okay between them. But they hardly touch upon the crash and don’t say anything about it being a racing incident. Gasly just called it a bad outcome, whereas Ocon mentioned that things did not click their way and that they were on the wrong side of the coin. The hints were subtle, but we cannot entirely be sure if things are okay between the two.
People were quick to notice the look on the driver’s face and have come up with theories of their own. Things may or may not be okay between the drivers, but the fans were quick to make assumptions about the video. Especially the situation in which they shot it and have come up with their theories.
Fans react to Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon’s debriefing about the race.
Fans have taken to Twitter to react to the video uploaded by Alpine’s official Twitter handle. Many believe that it was a punishment given by Alpine to the drivers for colliding with each other. Some suggested that some mafia kidnapped the Alpine drivers and are now recording a video asking people to rescue them.
It looks like some weird mafia just kidnapped them and they are recording the video for the rescue in a van road to the most unknown village in the middle of Russia

Why this video looks like they are kidnapped by an albano-kosovar maffia and they are asking for a rescue?

Regardless of the situation in which they might’ve created the video, the result was heartbreaking for Alpine and its fans. Otmar Szafnauer needs to make sure that they learn from this mistake and that it’s not repeated.
