As we edge closer to the brand-new F1 season, teams are unveiling their liveries or actual cars. The latest to join the league is AlphaTauri which is among the minority who actually left fans impressed. Unlike their senior team, Red Bull, the Italian team did not take too long to reveal their 2023 challenger. All it took was a 2-minute video and even the fans who did not like the livery that much-lauded their philosophy of not making fans wait for an hour.
5 of the 10 teams have revealed their 2023 liveries and Red Bull was the second to do so after Haas. While the actual livery did not turn out to be much different from the previous editions, the big announcement was the partnership with Ford. While the news was an exciting one for the fans, the livery launch certainly wasn’t.

AlphaTauri launched their 2023 livery in New York yesterday, along with their new clothing line. They also released a video of the unveiling, starring their drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries. The biggest change in the livery was the introduction of red accents to accommodate the branding of their new sponsor, PKN Orlen.
While the liberal use of red divided opinions, the thought process of not playing safe and presenting a similar design theory from last year didn’t. Speaking at AT04’s launch event, Tsunoda said, “The classic Scuderia AlphaTauri colors look great next to the new clothes and I can’t wait to try both out this season!”
Rookie Nyck was in love with the new look of the car as well. “The livery looks great, and you can see how the sleek A/W collection has inspired it, so I can’t wait to see it on track,” he told.

One particular user liked the idea of launching the car with a 2 minute video and also liked the livery design.
Considering the time I expected a full launch with a show and not just a 2 min clip. But at least no waffling around like Red Bull. Livery looks good

Given that AlphaTauri is also a fashion brand, one fan thought they would spend an hour talking about their new fashion line and then launch the car. Something along the lines of what Red Bull did with the Ford partnership announcement and long interviews with their three drivers, team principal, and Ford’s representative.
I was expecting that it'll be like Red Bull's where there's an hour of fashion talk then the car will get revealed 😂 https://t.co/ftJ0KjFxUn

One fan was in favor of having the red accents on the car, which some others weren’t a fan of.
Best livery in 2023 so far, the red orlen touch blends nicely https://t.co/gXn97kfDh6
