The F1 British Grand Prix qualifying session was a wet one, and the fans loved it. The rain was an unexpected factor but not totally surprising, keeping in mind UK’s weather. Moreover, the rain gave us some interesting results and incidents in the qualifying. Max Verstappen controlled his car after a 360 ° spin and Carlos Sainz secured the first pole of his career. To soak this all in, watching closely from the paddock of Aston Martin, was Canadian movie actor Keanu Reeves.

Reeves was one of the many celebrities to grace the Silverstone circuit with their presence. Unsurprisingly, all the rumors about Keanu Reeves being the nicest and utterly down-to-earth human are true!

Will Buxton, the famous British TV presenter, interrupted Reeves to ask him to pose for a photo.
He asked Reeves, “Hey Keanu, I’m sorry to disturb but would you mind having a photo with one of F1’s best cameramen, Steve? He’s always mistaken in public for you.”
And after agreeing and looking at Steve, Reeves said, “Woah! Like wow. Man, OK. Now I’ve got to get my beard right.”

Buxton even confirmed in his post what we all know to be true. “Everyone always says Keanu Reeves is the loveliest man. Can confirm. Absolutely Grade A human,” read Buxton’s caption.
Buxton’s exchange with the beloved American actor showcases Reeves’ treatment of everyone he meets. Grade A Human, indeed!

Unlike other celebrities spending leisure time at the track, the Matrix hero was in Silverstone for a purpose. As reported earlier, Reeves is working with Disney+, the streaming service provider on an F1 docuseries. The Silverstone visit was to prepare for the same.

Although, it’s not advisable to mix business and pleasure, the American could afford some wiggle room and discussed his Silverstone experience.
He said, “It was wet but it was thrilling. “It was absolutely amazing to be that close. Silverstone and rain, perfect. I think being that close to it, just seeing the speed and the way that they’re going at the turns and exiting the turns is something unbelievable.”
