It’s no secret that Sebastian Vettel is a vintage motorcycle aficionado. He usually arrives at the track in a classic motorcycle and leaves the circuit in style.

However, he’s also a supercar lover and didn’t hold back from expressing his adulation towards a Ferrari F12. At the race weekend of the 2015 US Grand Prix. Vettel went on a joyride in one of Ferrari’s finest machines.

The Ferrari F12 is a powered by monster 6.3 L F140 FC V12 engine that outputs 730 horsepower. For Sebastian Vettel, a V12 was all he would have wanted to hear. The German made it quite clear at Sochi last year on which engines he would love to race with.

At the 2019 Russian Grand Prix, Vettel got off to an excellent start and led the pack for the first few laps. Unfortunately, the German suffered an MGU-k failure after the first round of pit stops. It only went from bad to worse for Seb as the team instructed him to retire the car. With a potential victory thrown away, Vettel didn’t hold back from speaking his mind.

Bring back the f**cking V12’s,” said Vettel on the team radio in a message that was broadcasted live to millions. Vettel’s radio rant will remain an iconic phrase in F1 for many years. Even the old school fans still prefer the older generation of F1 cars over the turbo-hybrid era.

Back in 2015, Vettel had the opportunity to drive a V12 and he took full advantage. The German took F1 journalist Will Buxton on a hot lap while answering a few silly questions. The questions were easy and Vettel managed to breeze through them while doing 150 miles in a supercar. It was evident that Vettel was clearly enjoying the drive more than the questions. Who wouldn’t?!

Vettel didn’t hold back from gunning the throttle and Buxton couldn’t have been more terrified. Despite the drifts and turns, Buxton managed to get through the questions while Seb hustled the car.

The interview ended with Vettel contempalting getting a Ferrari F12 for himslef.

The highlight of the hot lap was when Sebastian Vettel took no time in answering a question on Nico Rosberg. Presumably, The Q&A was before the race.

“False” replied Vettel without any hesitation.

Sadly, for Seb, Rosberg did finish ahead of him but Vettel did well in a car that was clearly inferior to the Mercedes at the time.
