Kelly Piquet could be called Max Verstappen‘s number-one fan if it’s not her daughter Penelope. Ever since Piquet and Verstappen started dating back in 2020, the two have become the most popular power couple on the grid. Being a woman who comes from a family of world champions, she has become quite a celebrity, but not all of it was due to being a Piquet. She is a successful model, blogger, and internet sensation that the world cannot miss.

That being said, Kelly Piquet recently posted a carousel on her Instagram featuring her and what she has been up to since the Monaco Grand Prix. It looks like she’s having fun and living a lavish life, as she decided to kick back a little further down from Monaco, into France. In her first picture on Instagram, she posed near a cove in Ramatuelle on a terrace. Ferrari is her car of choice for the downtime before her man, Max Verstappen, gets back to the tracks. In the third image, we get to see the pristine La Réserve Ramatuelle villa that overlooks the ocean.

By the looks of it, Piquet has uploaded a photo dump of the pictures she took after the GP, and she’s spent most of her time at La Réserve. The next few pictures show the luxurious place that Piquet is staying at, and surprisingly, Max Verstappen and Penelope are missing from the images. However, she was accompanied by an adorable Shih Tzu, as seen in a video, which was the second last post in the carousel. The last picture was one of Piquet showing a bag and footwear check, and it’s safe to say she’s living in style.

Although Kelly Piquet shared a glimpse of her life, fans were more excited to beat Max Verstappen in a race to comment on the post, and here is what happened.

Max Verstappen fans are just as fast as the world champion himself

Although all the pictures were focused on herself and her experience alone, fans could not unlink her from Verstappen for one minute. In the comments section, although there were many compliments for Kelly Piquet knowing that Max Verstappen is not in the pictures, fans wanted to prove that they were faster than the defending F1 champion. Many started celebrating the fact that they commented on the post before Piquet’s boyfriend did, and the reactions got pretty amusing.

Once one fan started with the note, “Here before the fast guy,” a trend began with many more fans joining in on the meme. Different, creative variations of ways to call Max Verstappen were found by enthusiasts as the comments on the post continued to follow. The “fast guy” is pretty self-explanatory here, as he is statistically the fastest driver on the grid.

Calling him by his nationality, another fan stated, “Here before the Dutchman.” And in the next comment, the user went informal, saying, “Here before the max guy comes in.” Undoubtedly, this was all done as a joke, given that most people can only dream of being faster than Max Verstappen. And this even includes most of the F1 grid.

In other variations of the Red Bull driver’s name, one commenter made it clear that he reacted to the post before Piquet’s boyfriend did, however, this time, it was a reference to his father. They wrote, “Here before Jos Verstappen’s son,” a sentence that the father would not like to hear. Evidently, Jos Verstappen is extremely competitive about his son’s racing career and has a strong interest in it.

More variations of denoting Verstappen came in as his nationality was mixed with his speed by one user, stating, “Here before 🇳🇱 fast boy.” Interestingly, Max Verstappen has fans from all walks of life, and many enjoy seeing him win. But there are many who like seeing him lose, even if it was in the comments section of his friend.
