Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko is understandably furious with Mercedes’ on-track antics. Furthermore, the Austrian criticized the seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, for complaining regarding Fernando Alonso’s defense at Hungarian GP.
The Milton Keynes-based team endured a harsh couple of race weekends after two opening lap crashes caused by the Mercedes drivers. And things went from bad to worse for the Austrian team after Lewis Hamilton secured his eighth victory at Silverstone and making a great comeback in Hungaroring to retake lead the drivers’ championship.

What did Helmut Marko say?
Highlighting Lewis’ hypocrisy in complaining about Alonso’s risky driving in fast corners to the Briton’s own actions in Silverstone, Marko said, “Everything has been said about Hamilton, he was able to win in England despite the collision he caused. The two giants battled out for 10 laps for the P3 at Hungaroring. Unfortunately, on lap 65 on turn 2, Fernando’s defense tumbled as the Spaniard locked up and went deep on the previous turn, which allows Hamilton to finally get to P3.

Despite that, Alonso managed to hold off Lewis for quite a while, which helped Alonso’s teammate, Esteban Ocon, to secure his maiden Formula 1 win.
