X is one of the most active places where fans can follow the latest news in F1, and that’s where the compliments for the young Briton were made public. Oliver Bearman outperformed Lewis Hamilton and turned some heads. The young driver is full of passion and that resonated throughout the Jeddah circuit. Being the fastest street circuits, it’s not an easy task to get into an F1 car and just race against 3 World Champions on the grid, but Bearman impressed the world with his skills.

This gained the attention of Helmut Marko and Toto Wolff, both of whom were vocal about their thoughts on the Briton’s debut. About taking on the Jeddah track, Red Bull director, Helmut Marko said, “Jeddah is definitely not an easy track. Bearman faced it impeccably and sensationally, even in qualifying.”

“We see that young people need to be given a chance. Routine isn’t always necessary.” Impressed by the promptness of moving from F2 to F1 and scoring more points than Lewis Hamilton, Marko speaks about the new generation of drivers who can perform without having F1 racing in their routine. And this was not it for Bearman, as Toto Wolff had some words for the young driver too.

Everyone has their eyes on Bearman as he had to retire from his F2 season for just one race. But the ultimate goal for every driver on the Formula grid is to reach the heights of excellence in a race deemed as the pinnacle of motorsports. As of now, it’s hard to say if Bearman will be permanently promoted to F1 after the season.
