There are too many questions that are popping up around Red Bull. So what exactly is happening? The team that is dominating the sport is now under threat of losing its star driver.

Jos Verstappen and Helmut Marko expressed unhappiness about how Horner is managing the team, making the tensions an all-time high. Does this mean Max Verstappen will leave the team? During the podcast, Will Buxton explored what would happen if Max Verstappen left Red Bull. When asked if he thinks Verstappen will be leaving the crew, he gave a complicated answer, adding to the ongoing buzz. “If you’d asked me this question in Bahrain, I would have said no way, it’s locked in. You asked me that question in Saudi Arabia, it would have been 100% yes,” Buxton claimed.

Elaborating further, Will explained, “Then you asked me the question in Australia, and you’re like, maybe, maybe not. It’s changing. It’s not even changing week by week; it’s changing day by day. The way that this whole thing is flowing is quite incredible. I’ve never known anything like it.” His statements highlighted just how uncertain Max Verstappen’s position at Red Bull has been. So far, it does not look like he is happy with the way things are going at Red Bull, but will this make him quit?

Ideally, it should not. Max Verstappen and Red Bull go hand in hand. It would be weird to see him without the Red Bull uniform, but more factors come into play. However, the more the season unfolds, it’s starting to feel like, maybe, Max Verstappen might consider his options, especially considering his father Jos Verstappen’s take on Christian Horner‘s management.

Besides these insights, Will Buxton also explained exactly what has been going down behind the scenes. “So much we can’t talk about, and some that we can, which is the, you know, the polemics and the politics of who’s running what, the power within the organization, that the Verstappens have, the positioning of Helmet Marco,” he said.

After the Christian Horner investigation train started, it did feel like his stances would never stop. Currently, Jos Verstappen wants his son in a team that is not surrounded by controversy. Additionally, with Helmut Marko as the current advisor of Red Bull, there has been some friction with Horner on this end too. At present, reports are stating that the team principal wants Marko out of Red Bull, hoping for him to gain a stronger hold of the team.
