Carlos Sainz has seen the Spanish crowd support him immensely throughout his years in F1. However, not all celebratory messages and gestures have been perfectly executed. Recently a picture resurfaced of a blooper from one such demonstration.

The fans tried to form a 55, Carlos’s racing number. However, the group ended up forming what looks more like the Nazi Swastika. The fans posted the picture with the captionThe goal was a homage to but it didn’t go as planned

Sainz also recently shared the post on his Twitter with the caption “haha brutal! I’m lovin ‘it.” taking it all in good humor.

However, regardless of Carlos’s intentions with the post, not everyone could take the post in good humor like the Spaniard. The fans on Twitter have been going after him since his posting of the picture.

The fans have been reacting to the recent image Carlos Sainz has shared, and their reactions have not been pleasant. They have put Sainz under fire for finding humor in the botched attempt which looks like the Nazi symbol.

However, some fans didn’t find any problems with the 55 driver number.

Others tried to take the situation lightheartedly.

Although, the entire ordeal might be being blown out of proportion with fans calling for Sainz’s head.

It was clearly a botched public demonstration event that by chance resembled the Nazi symbol. In the meantime, Carlos Sainz sharing it was possibly just for humor and labeling him a Nazi is taking it a step too far.
