As a part of rebranding Renault, Alpine F1 also shook up the team’s management. The team replaced Cyril Abiteboul with Davide Brivio following the winter management overhaul at the team. Romain Grosjean, in a recent interview, stated that Alpine F1 is in good hands with their new team principal.
Even though he bid his farewell to Formula 1 after the 2020 season, the Frenchman is still in contact with the F1 grid and is following Alpine F1’s rebranding process. He expressed that Brivio working for the team could be very positive.
“I’ve been watching and following the changes and I think I was quite surprised,” said Grosjean.
