Last year people began writing Lewis Hamilton off only after a couple of underwhelming race results. However, he took to his Instagram to post a picture of himself with the caption, “Working on my masterpiece, I’ll be the one to decide when it’s finished.” While this seemed like an appropriate clap back to the haters, it has been more than a year to that with no sign of reclaiming the championship crown. And now that Hamilton has tried to reignite that hope ahead of Mercedes‘ Imola upgrades, fans are finding it hard to believe.
A winless streak of 17 months is what the most successful man has endured. This is all thanks to the incorrect interpretation of the 2022 regulations by Brackley engineers. But is all hope lost? One cannot be sure. We have seen Lewis openly bash the Silver Arrows for not listening to him to Toto Wolff, admitting that they made a mistake. But we do know that they have a massive package coming up in a few days’ time.
At a Petronas event in the UK, placing his faith in the team, Lewis said, “We will get a win at some stage, we will get that championship back.” While this is his usual positive style, fans didn’t buy it this time.

Fans call out Lewis Hamilton for eyeing the championship
Mercedes has been through a humbling experience for the past two seasons. And losing your grip on the championship is mighty, considering the outfit had been a straight 8x champion. But now the Red Bull team is ruling the sport, and this makes fans feel that Hamilton’s “chances of winning another title are slim.”
He is finished.

"Get the championship back"???
It was never yours. You did not finish the race in 1st position and there was no garantee you would do it even if they restarted the race with backmarkers between you and Max.
Stop crying.

I feel for him but I honestly think Hamiltons chances of winning another title are slim.

He’s going to retire with 103 wins and he’s going to have to accept that

Yeah that won’t happen

There’s a tremendous gap between getting a win and winning a championship. He is well aware.

Impatient and realistic fans failed to see any weight in Lewis Hamilton’s promise of being back up there, but perhaps it would take a dreamer to make it happen. And the 7x champion is one.
