The Turkish Grand Prix Qualifying was the major act in the F1 circus this weekend. Istanbul Park had in store the most exciting Qualifying session this season, and Lance Stroll paced ahead to claim the front seat at today’s race.
Turkey is presently freezing, with temperatures falling below 10 degree Celsius. The Istanbul Park hid itself in a thick sheet of fog yesterday. Naturally, it was very difficult for drivers to find their way around the circuit.
The track was wet yesterday, and the qualifying was a disaster awaiting fulfillment. In such a situation, the manner in which Lance maneuvered his car was commendable. So, the praise for the Canadian is flowing in from all sides.
