The Honey Badger made it back to his home team, Red Bull, after having left his seat at McLaren at the end of the 2022 season. Daniel Ricciardo has taken a back seat for the upcoming season, as he takes up the role of the third driver for the Milton Keynes-based team.

Ricciardo took to his Twitter to mention his return to the Bulls. This has been a special shift for the Aussie as he is back to the team, where it all started for him. The F1 journey started with immense promise for the Aussie. However, things didn’t quite go in his favor as he left the Austrian team after 2018.

Twitter went wild as the Aussie took to his Instagram and Twitter to post about his shift in the F1 world.

They had plenty to contribute to his latest post, and they weren’t afraid to share their thoughts on the subject. Some were blatantly honest about their thoughts. Some thought Daniel Ricciardo is after Sergio Perez’s seat at Red Bull.

After seeing everything that happened between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez at the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix, it seems fans have made up their mind about what the future lineup at Red Bull will look like. As per a lot of them, Daniel will eventually replace the Mexican as Verstappen’s teammate. And this is what fans tried to tell Perez as he commented positively on Ricciardo’s announcement on Instagram.
