Lewis Hamilton isn’t the man to conform to silly rules. Time and again, the 7x Champion has been on the wrong side of the rule-makers. The most recent example being the FIA’s clampdown on driver jewelry. But as it would appear, Hamilton’s been on the FIA’s ‘naughty boy’ list since at least 2012!

Lewis Hamilton is a legend. A testament to this is his 7 World Titles and the stature he has in the paddock. That being said, it was wonderfully hilarious to see the Brit stoop down a different level of petty when it came to his 2012 US Grand Prix helmet.
During the same time, the FIA had hit out hard with regard to the use of foul or offensive language by the drivers. How did Hamilton respond? He had the letters ‘H.A.M’ engraved on his helmet. He probably meant Hamilton, right? BILD claimed otherwise.
