The new season of the F1 championship is about to commence soon. With a new fresh start, come newer car designs and newer improvements to the engines. Haas’ boss, Guenther Steiner, shared some exciting news regarding a whole new start for Haas that’s going to be ‘bomb’.

The Haas F1 team has been provided with engines by the big Italian team, Ferrari. From parts to engines, Ferrari supplies quite a bit to Haas for its car development. Envisioning their future in 2023, Steiner has good news to give.

In a recent interview, he said, “I met Mattia Binotto and he told me that next season’s engine will be a bomb.”

Looking back at their team growth, Steiner added, “We had two difficult years with the pandemic, but we got back on our feet. The season we just finished went well, but it could have been better.”

“We can consider it a year of growth. This year Kevin he gave us a pole position. In 2023, we want to grow even more, make another leap in quality in the standings, always fight for points and one day get on the podium. Big goals are needed to achieve them and grow.”

Steiner further shared that Ferrari has huge supporters in Italy. Therefore, he said, “And if it is competitive it will be positive for us too, because it means that we will have a fast engine. But other than looking after this team, Guenther Steiner also documented a book this season about his journey at Haas as a team principal.

Haas’ boss shared that he wrote a book that is titled, ‘Surviving to Drive,’ which is more so like a personal diary. It is soon to release in April. Steiner is said to take his readers through the journey of 2022 as a team principal of an F1 team. He wanted to share the workings, the stressors, and the good times the team endeavored.

He said, “I don’t think I could have picked a more active year than this one in terms of documenting some of the many things a team principal has to go through in Formula 1.”

“I’ve never looked at keeping a diary before and while I like to look forward, it’s been fun to look back over this year proofing this book again and reflecting on the many highs and lows we’ve encountered at Haas F1 Team.”

In conclusion, he said, “I hope people enjoy this insight into our 2022 season and hopefully they’ll come along for the ride in 2023 when we look to build on this year’s successes.”
