Haas had a dismal 2021 where they were easily the slowest car. However, this season, they have had a major revival, which has allowed them to again become mid-table candidates. Steiner has had his say on the matter. He said, “It’s always the same. As soon as we have a good car, we have copied. When we have a bad car, that’s where we’re supposed to be,” talking about how the paddock is never satisfied and always suspicious of the team when they are doing well.
He went on to add, “I don’t find this way of thinking intelligent. You also have to respect people. We are not here to fill the grid”.
