We know Haas team principal Guenther Steiner as one of the most entertaining entities in Formula 1. Guenther is not the sort of man who minces words when letting know of any situation in his team. Therefore, the announcement of his upcoming book called Surviving to Drive has got fans excited.

We, like many F1 fans, have seen Guenther Steiner talking on Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive. Narrating the incidents from the season, Guenther often gets animated and if he has to use swear to get his point across, he does not hold back. That being said, there surely must be some restraints as to things he can and cannot talk about. Having a book of his own would definitely free him of those restraints.
Guenther Steiner to narrate his experiences of the 2022 season in a book
2022 was the season of a mixed bag for the Haas F1 team. They had to let go of Nikita Mazepin before the season started, owing to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. His replacement Kevin Magnussen made a comeback in the team and what a comeback it was. The Dane took P5 in Bahrain, which was a great result for a team that struggled pretty much for the rest of the season.
Then there was the all-time high of Kevin Magnussen’s pole position in Brazil and later Mick Schumacher being let go. We are sure Guenther Steiner would have covered it all in the book that will release in April.
Speaking on why he chose the current season to document, Motorsport quoted Guenther saying, “I don’t think I could have picked a more active year than this one in terms of documenting some of the many things a team principal has to go through in Formula 1.”
“I’ve never looked at keeping a diary before and while I like to look forward, it’s been fun to look back over this year proofing this book again and reflecting on the many highs and lows we’ve encountered at Haas F1 Team.”

One fan thinks, going by Steiner’s nature, there are going to be a lot of cuss words in the book.

One user found the title a nice wordplay on Netflix’s popular series on the sport.
Certainly an imaginative and catchy title for Guenther Steiner's 2022 behind-the-scenes Haas #F1 book.https://t.co/iPee1HBOdK
