Drive to Survive season 5 started with Guenther Steiner and Mattia Binotto taking a tour of scenic hillocks and vineyards and clinking their glasses. While Guenther was a happy man last season, it did not end very well for the Ferrari man, as he was shown the exit door at the end of last year. Interestingly, the Haas TP who has created ripples with his book Survive to Drive may have let us in on Binotto’s return plans.
Binotto was part of the scarlet team for almost three decades and he has literally sewn the DNA of the team, even being around at the time when Michael Schumacher was rewriting the sport’s history. With this kind of experience, despite Ferrari shifting the blame on him, resulting in his ousting, Mattia is definitely a hot commodity. Especially for players who are looking to enter the F1 grid.
Guenther Steiner said, “I think he’s in a good place. He worked at Ferrari for a long time, 28 years. It was his first job there, and he was never anywhere else, so when you get hit with this, it’s difficult. But I think he’s moved on from it.”

He further added, “He’s looking forward to his future. Will he be back in F1? For sure, there will be opportunities for him. Don’t ask me when and where, but I think yes.”
While Binotto’s return plans are still up for some conjectures, his old home Ferrari came close to the championship in the first half of the last season, but can they ever be the winners?

There are no two ways about the fact that Ferrari is Leclerc’s dream team. When he showed the prancing horse logo after the pole, he attested to that fact. And now he has again made a statement showing his loyal love for Maranello.
According to Bild.de, Charles Leclerc said, “You don’t have to go to Red Bull to become world champion.” When asked about winning the title with Ferrari, he said “Yes. When I dream of one day being a world champion, I imagine myself wearing a red racing suit and getting out of a red car. Not every driver can say it openly, but I think every Formula 1 driver would love to drive for Ferrari. So I can consider myself lucky to be part of Ferrari.”
