Breaking news just hit the F1 media. The recent news suggests that the official Formula 1 platform announced an extension of a certain Grand Prix, and the news F1 has completely split F1 fans.

According to reports on Formula1.com, the Dutch Grand Prix is here to stay. Earlier in 2021, F1 signed the contract allotting the Dutch GP a three-year run. However, with the recent extension, the Zandvoort circuit will host the race for a further two more seasons.

The Dutch Grand Prix will continue to take place at the Zandvoort circuit officially until the year 2025.

The CEO and president of Formula 1, Stefano Domenicali, said, “The Dutch Grand Prix has quickly established itself on the calendar as a fan favourite, bringing incredible energy and a great fan experience every year.”

“The sold-out events in the last two years have raised the bar in terms of organisation, entertainment, and sustainability, and we are delighted to extend our relationship with them. There is huge demand to host F1 races so it is testament to what the team have done to cement Zandvoort on the calendar until 2025, and we can’t wait to return next summer,” he said, in conclusion.
