There seems to be a general mood of optimism and confidence around the Aston Martin F1 camp these days. New signing Sebastian Vettel visiting the factory site and working with his new colleagues has certainly contributed to that.
Racing fans, and not just Aston Martin fans in particular, are keen to see Vettel’s impact on the legacy team. But, from team boss Otmar Szafnauer’s perspective, he opines Vettel has a splendid chance to achieve a Top 3 finish this season.
Szafnauer stated, “He has a tremendous amount of experience in Formula 1, but is still young at the same time.” (translated via Google Translate)

Szafnauer continued, “I think he has a great chance of achieving that. He has Lance (Stroll, editor’s note) by his side, who is also is a very fast driver with a great talent.”
