Horner shared his take on the incident in an interview with Sky Sports F1. He stated, “It’s very easy to pull his chain and you can see it. Sometimes it affects him. Last year was so intense and, of course, it was the first time he’d ever been in that situation. It’s always interesting to see how people react and when they’re smashing headphones and so you can see you got to them.”

Toto Wolff can now see and laugh at that incident. However, it seemed to be very serious then. The Mercedes boss shared, “We knew we had to win every race to win the world championship, so when Max brake-tested Lewis and it looked like we’d lost a front wing, I couldn’t believe that he’d just done that. That’s where that reaction came from.”
Going back to the interview with Christian Horner, Martin Brundle asked the Red Bull boss to pick up the better man among them. To which the British boss asserted, “That’s not for me to (judge). I’m focused on what I’m doing and I’m sure Toto is focused on what he’s doing.”
