Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Formula 1 is one of many sporting championships on hold. Admittedly, the situation is improving ever so slightly, however it will be a long time before the global situation is back to normal. The good news is that, some of the restrictions in Europe are relaxed. The best part is that Italy one of the countries where the restrictions are relaxed. So, the Ferrari company has confirmed that their factory is allowed to open its doors again.
The coronavirus pandemic originated in the Wuhan province in China, then it spread like wildfire. However, next on the hit list was Italy, the first country in Europe. The country now has more than 210,000 infections and 28,884 deaths, though they are confident that the worst is behind them.
The figures are staggering, however the southern European country is seemingly on the mend. The government is aware of this and is carefully and strategically relaxing the measures.

However, Ferrari’s Formula 1 branch will have to stay closed for a while. This is because the latest F1 regulations decree that the factory will have to remain closed for at least 63 days.
So they could possibly be back to work soon, but ideally it won’t be open for a while. Those 63 days will cover the months of April, May and/or June. Until then, everyone is observing the lockdown rules and staying safe in their homes.
