As the 2023 F1 season approaches closer, teams have started announcing their car launch dates. After Aston Martin, Ferrari is the second team to do so, and what a day they have chosen. Keeping up with their color scheme, Ferrari has chosen February 14, 2023- Valentine’s day as their car launch day.

The launch will take place 9 days before the scheduled pre-season testing in Bahrain. Not only did the announcement get fans excited, but they are also ready to ditch any plans they might have for the day. However, some remained wary of the heartbreak they suffered in the 2022 season, where the team started strongly but ran out of steam pretty early.

Aston Martin will unveil the 2023 car on the Silverstone Campus on February 13. Ferrari after the launch on the 14, will keep the next day for filming purposes. The venue for the reveal has, however, changed this time around. They will launch the car at Imola. While the car’s name is unknown until now, they have codenamed it Project 675. The launch will be the first under their new team principal, Frederic Vasseur.

In a released statement, Ferrari told: “February 14 next year will be a special day for lovers…of the Scuderia, as Ferrari’s 2023 car will be launched on St. Valentine’s Day.”

“Going by the project number 675, with its official designation to be revealed at a later date, the new car will be taking part in the 73rd year of the Formula 1 World Championship.”
