Netflix’s docuseries Formula 1: Drive to Survive gave a massive boost to F1‘s ever-growing popularity around the globe. The first season aired on the streaming giant’s network back in 2019 and will come back in 2023 as well. Realizing the potential it carries for F1’s popularity, more and more sports are connecting with the network. After tennis, golf hopped on the bandwagon, and the released trailer has got fans mighty excited.
The production value, the drivers’ interviews, and the insights into what goes on behind the scenes are what make DTS so appealing to the fans. The drama behind all the rivalries, the drivers and team principals’ personal lives coming on camera came as a new experience for the audience. That, however, is not the story of just F1. Fans of every sport want to know what goes on behind the curtains and what kind of life their favorite athletes live.

Netflix is ready to release the first season of its tennis-based docuseries Break Point on January 13. The trailer created a great buzz not just among tennis fans, but also among fans of sports in general. It was almost like a déjà vu for the viewers who had watched the DTS series. The F1 series did not just give existing fans something to watch during the off-season but also helped the sport build on its fanbase.
A similar feeling is prevailing among fans after watching the trailer of the upcoming golf docuseries Full Swing. Created by the makers of DTS and BreakPoint, the trailer had a similar feel. Needless to say, fans are absolutely buzzing for this one.

One F1 fan admitted they were hyped for the series and hoped it will help get more young viewers for golf.
If I would’ve picked the next sport to follow F1 on Netflix, this would’ve been it. A sport that once you’re in it, it’s extremely addicting. Hopefully more start watching golf (particularly younger audiences) after watching this. https://t.co/1mhaWnMnFj

Another user hoped the series will help boost golf’s popularity as it did with Formula 1. If we are to go by the trailer, we have no doubts it will.
Can’t remember being this fired up for a Netflix series. Feel like this is going to do for golf what Drive to Survive did for F1 racing. https://t.co/YSwE6vAKsx
