While he is yet to make waves with AlphaTauri, during the US Grand Prix in Texas, Tsunoda definitely made waves when he asked for a face-off against Lily Muni He. Yuki’s trainer Michael Italiano almost ‘blinded’ Tsunoda on the first day of his job after he threw a golf ball into one of his eyes accidentally, Italiano adds, “He(Tsunoda) rolled back and forth in pain and held his eye. It was my new job and I completely freaked out and ran to the bar. I asked, ‘Are you okay?’, and all I heard was ‘ouch ‘.” Yuki Tsunoda’s golfing escapades serve as a reminder that diversions, however harmless they may seem, can carry unforeseen consequences.
