Jon Rahm once again shined in the golfing universe when the Spaniard won the Masters Tournament. While many are including the F1 champ’s ally that we’re going to be talking about love Jon Rahm, the ally snubbed the Spaniard in favor of a LIV refugee despite the fact that Rahm stayed loyal to PGA Tour and rejected a $400 Million offer. But what did the F1 Champ’s Ally really say?

Many of Jon Rahm’s friends and former players left to play in LIV golf. And Rahm was also made an offer by LIV Golf to join them. It is believed that the offer was made after he won the Masters league. However, the Spaniard was on LIV’s radar before that. An alleged $400 Million offer was made to Jon Rahm, who rejected the offer and stayed loyal to PGA Tour.

However, current championship leader and 2X World Champion, Max Verstappen’s close ally and Red Bull mechanic Calum Nicholas was recently asked in a podcast as to what other sport would he choose as a career if not F1. Nicholas suggested how he’s been engrossed in the Masters Tournament. He expressed his love for Jon Rahm but advised that he wanted LIV Refugee Brooks Koepka to win.

According to the Track Limits podcast, Calum Nicholas when asked about an alternate career said, “Golf, for sure. I’ve spent the last 4 days watching the Masters. I love Jon Rahm but I kind of wanted Brooks to win. Just because I wanted one of the LIV refugees to win the Masters. So I thought that would be brilliant.”
