Last year, Lewis Hamilton became the first to join Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in their passion project, TMRW Sports. The venture started out with a first-of-its-kind tech-infused team golf league called TGL in January. Turns out, Lewis’ golf craze didn’t end with just investing in the business. The F1 sensation recently took to the golf course with his Uncle Terry and a special companion, who is one of his biggest rivals on the F1 track.
Following Hamilton, tennis legend Serena Williams, and NBA heartthrob Stephen Curry too made some heavy investments in Tiger’s venture. Woods and McIlroy founded TMRW Sports with the sole purpose of expansion and development of different sports. The entire venture reported cost the duo and their cofounder-cum-CEO Mike McCarley an eye-watering $14.7 million. Last year, Hamilton also tried his hand out at golf with legendary NFL QB, Tom Brady.

In the Instagram post’s caption, he wrote, “Golf 🔗 w Lando and Uncle Terry. Great game, okay photos.”

Lately, Hamilton has been trying to put his money into sporting ventures. While earlier his bid in jointly investing to buy English soccer club Chelsea FC did not go through, the one in partly owning American football franchise Denver Broncos was successful. Later in August last year, he proudly joined Tiger and Rory to back TMRW Sports.
Revealing the reason behind such investments in an interview ahead of the race in Zandvoort last year, he told, “I do want to get more and more involved in teams because I really do believe in Black ownership because there is a lack of it within sports and Black equity. There is a real lack of that.”
