During the time of writing this article, weather.com predicted Friday to have a 48% chance of rain with 88 degrees of maximum temperature. Saturday is predicted to stay stable at a maximum temperature from the previous day. The chance of rain is, however, predicted to be 59%. The race day is predicted to have the temperature settle at a maximum of 86 degrees, with a 69% chance of rain.
The rain prediction brought in some crazy fan theories. Some fans believe that the rain will make no difference and Verstappen will win. Others just let their imagination fly with some predicting a win for Williams’ driver Nicholas Latifi.
If one is to go by the history of rains in Formula One, there is no point in making predictions, as they all go for a toss.

Verstappen fans, as always, were also a part of the debate. And why won’t they be? Max could win the championship in Singapore if certain other results go his way.

Some fans, probably Singapore locals, warned against relying too much on weather prediction apps.
There were some who found nothing peculiar about rain predictions in Singapore, as it is a common occurrence there. They pointed toward Singapore’s tropical climate to be the reason for it.
I mean, it’s a tropical climate, if there weren’t thunderstorms, I would be surprised.

With Verstappen winning the last 5 back-to-back Grand Prix, things have become quite predictable. He could well take the title home from Marina Bay if he wins, and some other results go his way.
