Formula 1 has recently begun yet another campaign to ensure that the sport reaches the most amount of people around the world, irrespective of age and other factors. The Hungarian Grand Prix weekend will introduce the first-ever ‘children’s broadcast’ title ‘F1 Juniors’. Filing in the designation of Sky F1 Junior Presenters will be Braydon and Scarlett, and young go-karter Zac according to Formula1.com. A big day for the kids, but Lewis Hamilton ensured that for Zac, it would be a day he would never forget.

F1 has obviously chosen kids such as Zac who have the potential to pick up the baton from greats of sport on the broadcasting side of things. But while Zac was busy giving his ‘audition’ to become the next Martin Brundle, Christmas came early for the young lad as 7x champion, Hamilton had something wholly different and special in mind for him.

Zac is a diehard Lewis Hamilton fan. He said as much during the broadcast when he was quoted as saying, “It was beyond anything that I can ever imagine in my whole life. It was the best experience. It was the best day of my life. I got to meet one of the GOATS of F1, as I say the GOAT of F1; 7-Time WDC, 103 race wins, 103 career poles.”

They say never meet your heroes. But luckily for Zac, he did! And what did Hamilton have in store for him? Well, he let the young boy try out his exquisite $15,000,000 (approx.) toy – the Mercedes W14. Zac revealed, “He even let me sit in his car, and it’s actually a brilliant experience. I couldn’t have asked for better.”

Zac has been living out his dream thanks to Hamilton, but the young presenter also has a huge role to fulfill now. Especially if he would like to be like Martin Brundle or David Croft in the future.

F1’s latest expansive enterprise

Formula 1 is on the rise. And the sport doesn’t want to even give an inch when it comes to making the sport accessible to everyone. With this latest iterative broadcast, F1 wants to appeal to the kids and build them up to become diehard fans of the future.
