Lewis Hamilton is well known for his style and fashion statement. After all, the 38-year-old is a fashion icon and has been in the headlines for the same. But, one must not forget that Hamilton is a 7X Champion. The Briton proved that again by ending his 20-month drought in dramatic fashion with style as Nico Rosberg’s curse paid off for his former nemesis. Fans are screaming and are through the roof as we figure out how the infamous curse has played out this time!
Against all odds, it’s Lewis Hamilton who takes the pole at the Hungaroring. The pace looked good in FP3 on the softs but a pole was not expected. It was expected to be between Lando Norris and Max Verstappen but the Briton stepped up at his happy hunting ground as the crowd erupted. However, indications were there that Max Verstappen might be taking the pole as he was cursed by Lewis Hamilton’s ex-nemesis.

Just about an hour before the Qualifying started, Nico Rosberg posted a picture of himself in front of Max Verstappen’s garage with his RB19. As many of you might be aware of the Nico Rosberg curse, whoever he clicks a photo with and posts on his socials ends up in a not-so-favorable situation. Nonetheless, it doesn’t take away from the fact that Hamilton did an outstanding job and ended his 20-month pole position drought.
The Briton could be heard celebrating, screaming inside the car as his eyes teared up. After a very hard one and a half years, Hamilton takes the pole. Hamilton even mentioned in the post-qualifying interview how the car was losing time around turn 4 and during his final lap, he just threw the car into the corner and hoped that it would stick. Fans are as excited as us as they take to social media.

It definitely means a lot for Mercedes fans as this is a big achievement in the 2023 season where they have been rarely in the fight for the top spot. On top of that, with George Russell in a lowly 18th, this is an awesome showing from Hamilton.
