In the video message, the English actor sounded rather excited about Aston Martin’s new journey, which is set to begin after a massive 6-decade haul.
“Hello! Daniel Craig here. I just want to send a massive congratulations to all at Aston Martin for getting back onto the F1 grid for the first time since 1960,” he said.
“It is an incredible thrill for me and I’m sure for all F1 fans to see Aston Martin racing again in their iconic Aston Martin Racing green.”
Aston Martin have been one of the biggest stars in the entire ‘James Bond’ movie franchise. Hence, considering Craig has been sporting the world-famous character of Bond for a while now, he decided to attend the British Automobile company’s historic return to the Formula 1 grid.
What a line-up: Craig
The British actor was hyped up looking at the incredible drivers who will be taming the two AMR21 beasts over the 2021 F1 season, and possibly beyond that.
“What a lineup of drivers! Sebastian Vettel, 4 times world champion and the amazing young talent of Lance Stroll. Good luck to you all, to Lawrence, to all the team. Go take it to them. I’ll see you on the grid,” Craig said.

Aston Martin’s predecessors, Racing Point, already a massive statement over the 2020 F1 season with an unexpected top-notch performance. The Pink Panthers almost made their way into the top 3 before McLaren scrapped that away.
Hence, it wouldn’t be much of a shock if Aston Martin manages to inch closer to the top field. Who knows? Maybe they could give Red Bull and defending champions, Mercedes, a hard time.
